The World Didn’t Quite Make Sense, But I Didn’t Know Why…

As long as I can remember I struggled in school.  I would do whatever I could to avoid being called on.  I would study as hard as I could and still fail.  Fridays in the 6th grade were absolute torture.  I had to pass my spelling test or get spanked during recess.  So every Friday I wore as many pairs of underwear as I could manage to put on.  Amazingly, no one ever wondered why I couldn’t pass the tests; they all just assumed I was lazy.

Home schooling family finds help for their dyslexic son.

The Johnson Family couldn’t figure out why their home schooled son was struggling so much with reading.  He had all the phonetic tools, could read hard words yet tripped up on words like “the” and “cat.”  The parent’s were starting to think that their son was lazy.  Listen how transforming their thought process was when they discovered that their son wasn’t lazy but dyslexic.  Going through the Dyslexia Correction Program was in their words “phenomenal.”
